The amount of rain in Bangladesh is sometimes excessive. As a result, the practice sessions of the cricketers are interrupted. But now the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is making arrangements so that the cricketers can continue to practice even in the rain.
Shades will also be arranged in Bangladesh indoors like in New Zealand. If this system is implemented, cricketers will be able to continue practicing throughout the year, even during the rainy season. BCB Grounds and Facilities Manager Abdul Baten said this arrangement will be made at the Mirpur Indoor Academy ground.
While talking to the media yesterday, Baten said, "In New Zealand, there is a system that allows the indoor practice to be practiced throughout the year even during the rainy season. We will also take similar measures at Mirpur Indoor Academy ground. It is almost at the final stage. You will see that in New Zealand, even during the rainy season, the sheds that they can practice are removed, and closed. If there is such a system, the cricketers will be able to practice throughout the year.”
Baten added, "That procedure has been finalized and will soon be implemented in Bangladesh. It is basically a Canadian company they have arranged in New Zealand from the same company we are arranging to bring it to Bangladesh with the help of New Zealand Cricket Board.”
This modern technology is widely used in New Zealand. It is being used in various places including Mount Maunganui, Christchurch, and Oval in New Zealand. After a few days it will also come to Bangladesh. As a result, the team will not have to worry about practicing in the rain. Cricketers can continue to practice at full speed.
