BPL is more than competitive over all: Narine
After conquering the eighth edition of BPL, Narine has expressed keen interest to return Bangladesh again and participate in BPL. After bidding farewell to the tournament successfully, he wants to use his experience and prepare for the Indian Premier League (IPL).
He also praised the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), the organizer of the BPL. At the conclusion of the BPL final, he said, "Ever since I found out about the BPL, I have seen it is very competitive. This is a very difficult, not an easy tournament at all. Bangladesh Cricket Board is doing well."
"There are a lot of young cricketers in every team."
In response to media questions, however, Narine did not agree to compare the BPL with other leagues. Because in his eyes, all the franchise leagues are in one row.
This franchise league legend thinks that no franchise league in the world is easy for any cricketer nowadays. The West Indian is reluctant to take franchise cricket for granted.
"I don't want to compare," Narine said. "Every tournament is tough. No tournament is easy now. Cricketers travel all over the world. Anyone can play for any franchise."
"Now there is no easier tournament. Every tournament is of high quality."
Narine himself can be a big advertisement of the competition in BPL. In the final of the eighth edition, he alone has made the difference between both the two sides. He was the one who played massive role in making Comilla Victorians the champion for the third time.
