Chandimal fires as SLCBP take lead

Bangladesh declared at 391 for seven in 90 overs which they got on first day. Tamim Iqbal was the top-scorer with 136 retired out. Mominul Haque (73 retired) and Litton Das (57*) scored fifties which proved a good batting practice by the tourists.
That was it for Bangladesh. They decided to bowl on the second day. SLCBP XI lost three wickets for 29. Dinesh Chandimal took on the charge against Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman and others. He converted his fifty to a century.
Chandimal and Chamika Karunaratne hammered 112 runs in the last 12 overs of the day. Karunaratne made 42-ball 50* with 7 fours and 2 sixes. Chandimal made a massive 190* off 253 balls. He hit 21 fours and 7 sixes in the innings. SLCBP XI’s innings ended at 403 for seven.
The two-match Test series between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will start from 7 March.
