Cricketing fraternity sends condolence to Rashid Khan
Young Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan lost his mother on Thursday as she passed away after striving with a prolonged illness. Rashid took to Twitter to let everyone know about the news and wrote he still couldn’t believe his mother left him. This must have been a difficult time for him as he lost his father too only 18 months ago.
Rashid Khan tweeted, “You were my home my mother I had no home but you. I can’t believe you are no more with me you will (be) missed forever. Rest In Peace.”
Meanwhile, after Rashid’s tweet, the cricketing fraternity has come ahead to show empathy towards the 21-year old cricketer and sent their condolences for the Afghanistan spinner. From Afghanistani cricketers to Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar, cricketers from around the world expressed their support for Rashid Khan in this difficult time.
