CSK give witty reply to fan’s ‘Jadeja to Mumbai’ question
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) gave a witty reply to a random fan on Twitter when he asked about Ravindra Jadeja’s chances to join Mumbai Indians (MI).
Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who are the most successful in the Indian Premier League (IPL) history so far have released only five players before the IPL 2020 auction.
Only two overseas slots remaining for Chennai before the auction and it is expected they will not do any big signing and are happy with the current squad.
Meanwhile, Twitter recently witnessed a query regarding CSK all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja’s trade to defending champions Mumbai Indians. Laying emphasis on MI covering all their bases, the fan asked if Chennai would agree to release the top all-rounder.
In response to it, Chennai Super Kings replied to the fan, saying ‘Mission Impossible.’
Jadeja has been a crucial player for Chennai over the years. He contributes significantly to the fielding department for any team he plays for. The southpaw’s presence in the middle both saves runs and affects dismissals for Chennai.
Jadeja has scored 1,927 runs at an average of 24.08 and a strike rate of 122.58. He also played for Rajasthan Royals, Kochi Tuskers Kerala and Gujarat Lions in the past.
