Siddarth Kaul took 2 wickets and Rashid Khan picked up 1 wicket for SRH.

In reply, SRH had a decent start with David Warner and Jonny Bairstow but a run-out by combining effort of Kagiso Rabada and Pant removed the momentum and Warner was the unlucky man to get out at 6 run off 8 balls.

Bairstow and Kane Williamson shouldered the responsibility then but Bairstow couldn’t able to make his innings big as young Avesh Khan got the breakthrough wicket of the England batsman. He scored 38 runs off 18 balls with 3 fours and 4 sixes.

After that, SRH’s regular failure at middle-order was seen as no one was able to reach even the double-digit score. But at one side, Williamson fought alone and remianed till the last over. Mohammad Nabi Jagadeesha Suchith played a crucial role as he eased off the pressure with two fours and a six at 19th and 20th over of the match.

SRH needed 16 runs in the last over. Williamson hit a four in the first ball and Suchith smased a six off Rabada’s third ball which saw SRH needed 4 off 3 balls. Then they took 3 singles in next 3 deliveries and the match ended in a tie.

In Super Over, captain Warner and Williamson came to bat while spinner Axar Patel was given the ball by Pant. They were able to score just 7 runs in the over and DC needed 8 runs to won the match. However, one run was deducted for SRH as Warner didn’t drag his bat past the line to complete a run.

Dhawan and Pant did the job for Delhi as they chased down 8 runs in Rashid Khan’s over and sealed the win for Delhi.
