The gentleman’s game has seen a plethora of batsmen smashing sixes in different formats of the game. We have seen batsmen smashing a hat-trick of sixes in an over and these instances are quite common. However, hitting 6 sixes in an over takes quite an effort, power and timing.

During a club game between Errol Holders Stars and C.R.B in the final of A&A Auto Parts Errol Holder Ten10 Classic, Dwayne Smith stole the spotlight as he hit 6 sixes in an over in Barbados. Interestingly, the bowler was none other than his own brother, Kemar Smith.

We have seen brothers playing in the same team. But this time around, it was the vice-versa. Kemar Smith was up against his brother Dwayne Smith. Kemar was on the receiving end as he leaked as many as 36 runs in an over.

The Caribbean Dwayne Smith opened the innings for Errol Holder Stars. On the other hand, Kemar Smith was the first bowler to bowl for C.R.B. Interestingly, their mother was also sitting in the gallery to watch her sons playing against each other.

However, Dwayne Smith impressed his mother by hitting 6 on the very first ball. After gaining confidence, he took Kemar to the cleaners by smashing another 5 sixes in a row, thus hitting 6 sixes in an over as reported by ESPNcricinfo.

Dwayne Smith was dismissed for 46 as he was caught at mid-wicket off the spin of Ashley Nurse. Kemar who is a professional off-spinner by trait spent a couple of seasons as a professional in English cricket.

Kemar didn’t take revenge:-

Everyone expected that there would be another battle between Kemar Smith and Dwayne Smith. Kemar had a chance to exact revenge as he came into bat against Dwayne’s bowling. However, the Kemar Smith failed to convert his chances to good effect.

Instead, the younger brother was bowled out for a first-ball duck by Dwayne Smith. The 37-year old West Indies international has a plethora of experience in the international cricket and the franchise cricket. He represented West Indies national cricket team in 10 Tests, 105 ODIs, and 33 T20Is, scoring more than 2,000 runs in three formats.

Besides being a very good hitter of the ball, he is also a pretty good bowler as well. He has accounted for 75 dismissals in his career.
