Fans roast Vijay Shankar for posting ‘body transformation’ pic on social media
Indian all-rounder Vijay Shankar who is currently out of the team set-up has recently shared a body transformation image on social media in the hope that it would inspire people.

“The sweat, the time, the devotion. It pays off! #TransformationTuesday,” Vijay Shankar’s caption read onTwitter and Instagram on Tuesday. But, it didn’t work as the picture failed to impress some users, who roasted the all-rounder.
The 28-year-old fast-bowling all-rounder was last seen plying his trade for India on June 27 in a World Cup match against the West Indies. He was ruled out of the World Cup due to a toe injury and couldn’t make a comeback to the Indian team ever since.

At the time of listing India’s 15-member World Cup squad, India’s chief selector MSK Prasad made his statement very clear that Vijay Shankar earned a place in the team due to his “three-dimensional skills”.
Ambati Rayudu, who was ignored in the team set-up because of Shankar’s three-dimensional game plan, took to Twitter to troll MSK Prasad’s statement with a cheeky post which went viral on social media in no time.
“Just Ordered a new set of 3d glasses to watch the world cup,” he tweeted at the time.
Talking about Vijay Shankar’s latest development, he recently made a comeback in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) and was also included in India A squad for a series against South Africa A. Unfortunately, he was soon ruled out of the series with a thumb injury.
