Fizz to leave today, could be available for RR’s first game

Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman, who has just arrived from a long journey from New Zealand, will immediately fly to India to take part in this year’s IPL.

Mustafizur will join Rajasthan Royals squad in Mumbai. He could be available for the first match against Punjab Kings on April 12.

If he tests negative for COVID-19, he will be able to join the team after completing a seven-day quarantine.

Bangladesh team landed in Dhaka on Sunday morning via Singapore Airlines flight. While the rest of the team left the airport, Mustafizur remained to catch an IndiGO flight to Kolkata at 3:40 pm (Bangladesh Standard Time).
