Not only in women's cricket but also in men's cricket, the coaches of Bangladesh do not have any great achievements. Women's cricket is again far behind than men's cricket. But in the international arena, one woman coach brought Bangladesh incredible honor.
Bangladesh women's cricket team's former cricketer Fatema Tuj Zohra has been appointed as the coach of the Maldives women's team. The Maldives Cricket Board itself announced the appointment of him as a coach.
In announcing the appointment of Fatema on social media, the board wrote, “Welcome to our new women’s cricket team coach Mrs. Fatema Tuj Zohra.” She is a former player of the Bangladesh national team and a coach who has completed level two courses of CA and ICC. Since 2011, she has been working on the development of women's cricket.
Fatema, who studied at Jahangirnagar University, has also worked as a coach in Bangladesh. He worked with women cricketers of Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP). This time she got a direct opportunity in the international team.
However, the Maldives national team has not been in contact with the game for a long time. The women's national team of the country has not played any international match in the last three years. They played only three T20 Internationals so far.
