Former BCB secretary passes away

Former General Secretary of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Reza-e-Karim has breathed his last today morning in Dhaka. He was 82-years old.

He has been under treatment for cancer and other health hazards at the Bangladesh Specialized Hospital for a long period of time.

Mr. Karim was the secretary of the then BCCB’s first division league and tournament committee in between 1974-75. One of the pioneers of cricket organization after the birth of Bangladesh, Karim was in the key role when the first constitution of the board was drafted back in 1976-77.

His namaz-e-janaza will be held today after Zohor prayers at Baitush Sarak Mosque, Tejgaon Monipuri Para. He will be buried at the Martyred Intellectuals Graveyard in Mirpur.
