Former Indian left-handed batsman Gautam Gambhir has isolated him in self-quarantine following a COVID-19 case at his home.

The whole world is fighting against a common enemy called COVID-19 throughout this year. The viral disease has been a severe threat all around the globe. The virus has created an impact around cricket too. Many cricketers from various countries were identified as the victim of the virus and even some casualties too.

For a while, the viral diseases went a bit away around the game, and now again it has come around a cricketer. The former Indian left-handed batsman Gautam Gambhir is the latest victim of the disease.

The former cricketer placed himself in self-quarantine following a COVID-19 case at his home. Gambhir himself confirmed the news via his official social media handles. Also, he stated that he is also waiting for the test result of himself, taken after the case at his home.

“Due to a case at home, I have been in isolation awaiting my COVID test result. Urge everyone to follow all guidelines & not take this lightly. Stay safe!” Gambhir tweeted.
