Young fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain has been called back to Pakistan from the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

Hasnain called back to Pakistan
Mohammad Hasnain is playing for Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) in the ongoing Caribbean Premier League (CPL). But he has been summoned back home from the tournament in order to play him in the Quaid-e-Azam trophy, Pakistan’s first-class tournament.

Hasnain has been in the spotlight after hitting speeds of 150 kph and he went to West Indies after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) gave him the NOC. He was set to play the full tournament, but it will now not happen in the end.

Hasnain had played only two first-class games but ended up with 12 wickets in 28 overs with an economy rate of 7.50. His performance earned him a maiden call-up to the Pakistan one-day team in March and a World Cup spot in July.

The young fast bowler took the wickets of Chris Gayle and Chadwick Walton in TKR’s win against Tallawahs. He proved to be a vital bowler for Kieron Pollard and his men.
