It is not a small thing to do well against England batsmen on English soil. Bangladesh played a Test series in England in 2010. Shakib was the captain of that team. Shakib took 5 wickets for 121 runs in the Old Trafford Test. After that no other captain could take 5 wickets of England in Test innings as a tour.

This time Holder has built that fame. He single-handedly took 6 wickets for 42 runs. His fiery bowling has left the English in a dilemma. Apart from Shakib and Holder, England have a reputation of taking 5 wickets in an innings as a visiting captain and only 5 captains.

Holder has built another reputation like Shakib. His name has topped the list of the best bowling figures as a captain in the last 20 years of Test history. After Rangana Herath, Shaun Pollock and Shakib Al Hasan, Holder’s bowling figure is shining in the record book of 20 years.

In the Harare Test in 2016, Herath took 6 wickets for 63 runs. Pollock took 6 wickets for 30 runs in the Cape Town Test in 2001. Shakib Holder took 6 wickets for 33 runs against the Caribbean in 2016.
