HP unit lost the last match of England tour Four matches out of total seven between BCB High Performance Unit and several selected elevens of English county teams have been washed out by rain. In the seventh and last match of the tour, HP team suffered a gigantic loss of 170 runs against Warwickshire second eleven.

Among rest of the three matches that could take place out of rain interruption, BCB HP unit picked up two wins on the other side of a single loss.

The first match of the tour between BCB HP unit and Nottinghamshire second eleven was abandoned due to torrential rain falling in the midst of the match. The visiting team scored 305 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their 50 overs.

The match was called off after Nottinghamshire second eleven scored 195 for 6 in 37 overs.

BCB HP unit defeated Nottinghamshire second eleven in the second match of the tour. The growing team of Bangladesh reached the target with 6 wickets in hand, credit goes to Nazmul Hossain Shanto who scored back to back hundreds.

After his ton in the first match, Shanto was unbeaten scoring 144 runs in the second match as well.

The third match taken place between BCB HP unit and Northamptonshire Academy was abandoned due to rain. Play stopped when BCB HP unit scored 102 runs losing 4 wickets in reply to home teams’ 262 runs.

HP team picked up win in the fourth match of the. They defeated Warwickshire second eleven by 25 runs.

The fifth and sixth match of the series were ruined by rain.
