HP ‘white-wash’ Northern Territory with another massive victory

Batting first, the visiting team were restricted on 259 runs in 48.3 overs. In reply, NT Invitational XI failed to grab the chance to seal their first victory of the series and bowled out in the 31st over for 118. Batsmen failed to prove their worth despite Jarrod Freeman scored highest 29 runs for his side.
Abul Hasan Raju and Saifuddin were tremendous with the bowl. They removed six Territory’s batsmen with three each. Another pacer Abu Jayed Rahi picked up 2 crucial wickets.
Earlier, after a pathetic start, Anamul Haque’s 53 alongside Imtiaz Hossain a very well-judged 35 runs Later Tasamul Haque and Irfan Sukkur who both were scored 46 runs each, helped the visitors to add 258 runs on the board before got all-out. Abu Haider Rony also played a crucial knock of 35 runs under pressure at the end of the innings.
The only three-dayer match between the two teams will start from this Thursday at Marrara Cricket ground.
