ICC T20I ranking: Mahmudullah top Bangladeshi, Kohli moves upward
In the updated ICC T20I ranking after the three match Twenty20 series between India and Sri Lanka, Indian batsman Lokesh Rahul has retained the sixth position in the batsmen table with 760 rating points.
Pakistan’s Babar Azam tops the list with 879 points, way beyond the reach of second positioned Aaron Finch.
The top ten have seen Indian skipper Virat Kohli moving upward. The highest ranked Test and ODI batsman is in ninth place in the table having 683 points.
Shikhar Dhawan coming back from injury, blasted a 36-ball 52 in Pune that cruised him up one place and now positioned in 15th.
From Bangladesh, the highest ranking batsman in the shortest format of the game is Mahmudullah Riyad. With 537 points, Mahmudullah positioned in 29th.
India’s debutant pacer Navdeep Saini who was adjudged man of the series made a big jump. He leap frogged 146 places to settle in 98th position after his inaugural series. While another Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah in his comeback series gained eight places to reach in 39th position.
In the bowler’s ranking, two Afghan performers Rashid Khan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman hold the first and second place respectively with the former having 749 points and Rahman breathing on his neck with 742.
