India announce squad for West Indies tour


Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Indian squad for the upcoming tour to West Indies.

There were so much speculations over the captaincy of Virat Kohli in the limited overs format. But there is no change in that as Virat Kohli will lead the side in all three formats of the game in the tour.

India will tour to West Indies for a mini series of 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is and 2 Tests. There was a high expectation on the squad announcement for the series because of the things went aroud the team after the semi-final loss against New Zealand in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

In the ODI side, MS Dhoni is missing out as he pulled out himself from the side, requesting a two months off from the game. Shikhar Dhawan is back into the side in colour clothes after the thumb injury.

Navdeep Saini has been called to both ODI and T20I squad. Wriddhiman Saha is back into the Test side after recovering from the shoulder injury he sustained for a long period of time.
