The number two ranked ODI side has been destroyed by the Australians. The Indians players were in tremendous form during the recently concluded IPL. However, they could not bring the same form into the ODI format.

The bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Yuzvendra Chahal were dominated by the Australian batsmen. They lacked the ability to take wickets and have been very expensive as well.

Even though the batsmen are in decent touch, they failed to build the partnerships which hurt India the most. With already 2 down in the series, the Indian team would look to give the opportunity to the other players.

Ahead of the third and final game of the three-match ODI series, we will take a look at the probable eleven of the Indian team.

1. Shikhar Dhawan

Dhawan reveals best captain and toughest bowler he has ever faced

The left-handed opener, Shikhar Dhawan has been in good touch with the bat since the IPL 2020. He continued the same form into the ODI series where he scored a fifty in the first ODI. Though he failed to score big knock in the 2nd ODI, he would look to smash the Australian bowling lineup to help India to avoid the whitewash.
