IPL 2020: Bangladesh’s Bulbul to feature in SRH
The 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) will begin on March 29. Though Shakib Al Hasan or Mustafizur Rahman will not feature in this year’s IPL but there will be another Bangladeshi who’ll be in IPL 2020. He is the team boy of Bangladesh national team, Bulbul.
Young Bulbul works in the Bangladesh team as a side arm thrower. The main task of the side arm thrower is to help the batsman in practice. This time he’ll work for the popular IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Bangladesh has many fans of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Both Shakib and Mustafizur played for this team. This time Shakib is not in IPL due to his 1-year ban. No other Bangladeshi players has been included in any IPL team.
However, Bulbul will be in the IPL from Bangladesh but not as a player. He will work with Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman throughout the whole season.
Bulbul said to Bdcrictime’s senior correspondent Nazmus Shakib that Bangladesh national team’s computer analyst Shrinivas Chandrasekaran and ODI captain Tamim Iqbal help him to get a chance to work in Sunrisers Hyderabad. Shrinivas sent a video of his throwing to Sunrisers Hyderabad authorities.
The rest of the way is wide because of the ability of Bulbul. Sunrisers Hyderabad has taken him as a side arm thrower for the whole season, as they like the work of Bulbul.
Bulbul said he’ll leave for India on March 23. Hyderabad will play their first match against Mumbai Indians on April 1. However, the busyness of team boy Bulbul will start soon after setting foot in India.
