IPL franchises urge BCCI to make a quick call on Pandya and Rahul
IPL franchies has urged Board for Control of Cricket in India to take the final call on Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul as soon as possible as the league is coming closer.
Indian players KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya are facing some serious troubles now following their comments on a TV show named Koffee with Karan.
Even though Hardik Pandya made a common apology in his social media handles regarding this issue, still he is not cleared with the issue along with his partner KL Rahul involved in the controversy.
The duo were suspended immediately from playing the game until final calls are taken on them. As a result both of then had to travel India all the way from Australia to submit their statements to the officials.
The latest improvement in the news is that Supreme Court has adjourned the first hearing of the case and is planning to implement a investigation committee to give the final verdict on them.
As it is getting delayed day by day for the final sanctions and punishments for the duo, IPL franchises have urged BCCI to make a call as soon as possible since the teams are gearing up for the next edition of IPL.
Both Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul are prime members in Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab respectively. Any late decisions on the players will have a big impact on the franchises.
“We don’t deny as what they said is not acceptable. Our management is clear that he (the player) will be sanitised before donning our jersey for the season and you will see a sea change in his behaviour and attitude after that.
The issue has been discussed deeply by our management. While the team owners are furious about the whole episode, management is of the view that we are not in a state to make an emotional decision,” a senior executive from a franchise said.
