Ishant Sharma who still plays Test cricket has thoroughly enjoyed himself playing under the leadership of Virat Kohli. Quite interestingly, the kinship between Ishant and Kohli is also great because of the fact that both have played junior and senior cricket representing the same team on several occasions.

Ishant Sharma announced his arrival in a grand fashion when he stunned the opposition with his pace and accuracy. His first-ever tour to Australia was a game-changing moment in his cricketing career where he hit his peak performance by bowling a sensational spell against Australia batting phenom, Ricky Ponting.

Since then, he had gone on to become one of the most dangerous pacers in world cricket. Nonetheless, he often gets injured and this is a setback. He had worked a lot on gaining muscle strength which increased his speed and accuracy to a considerable extent.
