Klinger leaves his Australian domestic team to play in BPL!Veteran Australian performer Michael Klinger is reported of controversially leaving Australian domestic team Western Australia in the Sheffield Shield to play in the fifth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League.

Klinger will play for Khulna Titans in BPL-5 scheduled to commence from November 4 in Sylhet.

The 37 year old Michael Klinger will leave Perth this week and is supposed to return in Australia at the start of December.

But he remains contracted to the WACA and Western Warriors. Klinger will play for Perth Scorchers in this season’s KFC Big Bash League and BPL seems to be a part of preparation for Klinger.

Although he is not known in international cricket, Klinger has been a notable performer in domestic cricket.

Making his first class debut in 1998 – 1999 season, the right handed batsman have had a reach domestic career record in Australia scoring 11,320 first class runs. He also scored 7449 List A runs.
