Kohli dedicates the win for Kerala victims
After a poor match performance in the Lords’ Test Indians registered an epic win over England in Trent bridge in the third match of the five match series against England.
At the End of Day 4 England were 311/9 and India were one wicket short of a memorable win in Trent bridge. After the start of Day 5, the off spinner Ravichandran Ashwin removed James Anderson in a short time.
With this win, India made their comeback and ensured that the series is still alive with England leading the series 2-1. This is the second overseas win for team India in this year and it is a rare record for them in the recent years.
Indian skipper registered his 22nd win as captain for India and occupies the second place in the table of most Test wins for an Indian captain. Indian pacers took 19 wickets in the match for the first time in their Test history.
This is the second win for Team India at this venue and the third biggest win against England. Indian skipper Virat Kohli was awarded as man of the match for his 97 and 103 in the two innings of the match.
At the presentation ceremony Indian skipper wanted to dedicate this win for the flood victims of Kerala.
