Things have been going not too well for the visitors in the ODI series. After being trashed 3-0 already in the five-match series, they have now lost their vital batsman Kusal Perera due to injury.

The left-handed batsman sustained an injury in his left hamstring while fielding during the rain-affected 3rd ODI on Sunday. Sri Lanka announced that they will not call any replacement rather they will wait for Perera’s recovery and try to fit him into the T20I squad.
