Bangladesh cricket’s poster boy Shakib Al Hasan is one of the best all-rounder in world cricket at that moment across all formats of the game. Undoubtedly, he is the best player of Bangladesh.

He has achieved most of the records in Bangladesh cricket history. Another all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz thinks that the Tigers will rule the world cricket with Shakib’s hand.

Bangladesh team has emerged as a new superpower in modern cricket in the recent years. But having no big achievement on the global stage, Bangladesh are not discussed much. But Miraz believes that one day Shakib will mitigate that speculatory by some means.

Miraz has announced his emergence from the age-based team. His immense talent helped him to reach in the national team. After stepping in the national team, he has proved his worth unequivocally. People take him as a precursor of Shakib Al Hasan. But Miraz doesn’t like the speculation. In Bdcrictime Eid special live adda, Miraz commented on this.

“Actually there is no comparison of Shakib with anyone. He has given a lot for Bangladesh team. He is a living legend and an idol to me. I have grown up watching him playing. When we see him playing, we get motivated and we feel that we will rule the cricket someday,”

Miraz said.

Although, Shakib is Idol to the youngster, but Miraz likes Mushfiqur Rahim for his batting. He confessed that he likes to bat with Mushfiqur Rahim. Before he entered the national team he used to bat like Mushfiqur Rahim, that’s why people call him ‘Little Mushfiq’.

“I like Mushfiq Bhai the most, for his batting style. I find him different from others. I enjoy a lot if I get scope to bat with him. In fact, we have couple of good partnership together. People says I bat like Mushfiqur Rahim, that’s why everyone calls me by his name,” the 22-year old Miraz added.
