It has been a while when a report emerged that Mahmudullah lost the support of the dressing room and there was a rift between him and Shakib Al Hasan after the all-rounder asked the captain to drop him after his slow innings against England.

After almost a month, Mahmudullah has spoken about the issue and ruled out all the rumours. In his official facebook page,  he posted a video on Sunday where he clarified everything and claimed that the reports are not true.

Meanwhile, he also talked about this issue with the reporters after the training session on Sunday.

“It’s better not to comment on these things. I will just say only one thing – Things didn’t happen like the way it was portrayed. It could have been portrayed in a different way. I don’t think anything happened with my team-mates. We still are very good friends.”

“You all are welcomed in our dressing room. You can come and see how we are with each other, how we do fun with each other and how the youngsters and the seniors are with each other,” he said.
