Mashrafe advises young cricketers to follow seniors in the team

In a growing cricketing nation like Bangladesh, youngsters carrying the hopes and dreams of the future of this sport, have not been showing up enough professionalism and dedication. Mashrafe advises young cricketers to follow seniors in the team

While interviewing by a private television channel, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said, “I’m saying the names of four cricketers. Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan – look at their personal lives. These performers received the positive effect of their personal lives in the playing field.”

Mashrafe reckoned that the personal life maintenance of a cricketer lead his professional life as well.

“It is absolutely normal. Your professional life will be smooth in parallel of the smoothness of your personal life. These are absolutely important and relative,” Mashrafe said.

Mashrafe also rendered over evaluation of young cricketers bring quick stardom in their lives leading them in the wrong way.

“What happens to us is that, when some youngster perform well, we regard him as the best of the time. But look at Mahendra Singh Dhoni – he is so strong mentally, dragging a match up to the last 2-3 overs batting with tale enders, these things aren’t easy and won’t come within days of playing international cricket,” he said.

“They do not know how hard international cricket is. They fall under pressure all of a sudden in here and lose mental strength and self-control,” Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said.
