The two most successful cricketers of Bangladesh Cricket Team Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and Shakib Al Hasan were the two most trending individuals in the Social sites today (Saturday) due to their rumour of participating in upcoming national election for the Bangladesh Awami League.

There has been such speculation for a while now that both will be seen as candidates during the national election of Bangladesh this December. The rumour became reality as Bangladesh Awami League confirmed the news on Saturday. The prestigious political party informed the media that Mashrafe and Shakib will be seen collecting their form of nomination on Sunday early morning.

Later on during the Saturday night the One Day International captain of Bangladesh Cricket Team himself confirmed the news during a short conversation with one of the leading national television channel name Jamuna Television. The television channel in their news has also said that the cricketer who is also known as Narail Express will be candidate in election from the Seat known as Narail-2.

Earlier, Mr. Biplop Barua, the office secretary of the ruling party of the nation has said the media around 12 in the noon that both the cricketers will be present at the office of the party president tomorrow by 10 in the morning, which has been confirmed by his General Secretary Mr. Obaidul Qader. Both the cricketers has spoken today with the General Secretary in phone and has also said about the decision of collecting nomination form.
