Retried from the longest version of cricket eight years ago, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza is now leading the one day international team, but still desires to play Test cricket once again.
In a recent interview with Cricbuzz, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza revealed about his concealed dream of delivering in the elite arena of cricket.
“Every cricketer feel the eagerness of playing Test cricket. Although I stepped into the 34th year of my life, but I still want to play Test cricket. I have to think out everything,” said Mashrafe.
“It’s uncertain when I could get back into Test cricket; but I will continue my trial,” Mashrafe said.
Recently Mashrafe played all four days in the national cricket league. But he is not that satisfied with his fitness level.
“My fitness level is quite improved which provides me the courage to dream of playing Test cricket once again. Now I want to improve it further as much as I can. If I can make progress in first class cricket, why not target Test cricket,” Bangladesh limited over skipper said.
Mashrafe bagged 78 Test wickets playing 36 matches.
