McCullum ruled out of CPL with broken arm

Former New Zealand cricket team’s superstar batsman Brendon McCullum, will miss rest of the matches of the ongoing Caribbean Premier League (CPL) as he  has been ruled out of the tournament with broken arm. [বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ বলের আঘাতে সিপিএল মিশন শেষ ম্যাককালামের]

On Sunday, during the match between Trinbago Knight Riders and Barbados Tridents, he was struck on the left arm by the Tridents’ quick Wayne Parnell. It forced him to take retire hurt after scoring quick 26 off 19 balls while chasing 137 runs.

Later on, the 35-year-old, McCullum was taken to hospital for initial Test. An X-ray report has showed that there is a fracture on his left-arm. Hence, he is going to miss the tournament. Brendon McCullum has ensured that he will be out of the tournament due to fracture on left arm.

To be noted, despite his injury cost the match to lose to Barbados Tridents on Sunday, Trinbago Knight Riders are table topper and have already secured the Qualifier-1 berth of the fifth edition of Caribbean Premier League T20 2017.
