Miller’s fastest T20I hundred secures clean sweep for South Africa
Bangladesh were out at Potchefstroom in search of a victory in the last match of the tour but South Africa rather made it even worse as they won by a big margin of 121 runs in the 2nd and the final T20I.
Bangladesh elected to field first after winning the toss and they made a good start removing Mohsehle early. When South Africa were 75 for 3 and looked like they will score less than they scored in the last T20I, David Miller came to the crease and made everything go all wrong for Bangladesh.
Miller was dropped on 0 by Mushfiqur Rahim and it turned out to be one of the costliest drop ever as Miller went to score the fastest T20I hundred ever which also helped South Africa to post a massive total of 224 runs.
In reply, Bangladesh started off well, scoring 17 runs in the first over but it was the only highlight for them in the end as they started to collapse right from the third over of the innings.
Soumya Sarkar’s 44 runs from 27 balls was the highest individual score for Bangladesh and they were bundled out for just 141 runs which ended their tour with 7-0.
