Nasir Hossain begins new life
Discarded Bangladesh all-rounder Nasir Hossain has started a new life, as he got married on Sunday (February 14).
To mark the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the cricketer tied the knot with Tamima Sultana, who is from Tangail.
The marriage was completed in a homely arrangement, with family members of both the bride and groom being present.
It has been learnt that the marriage was arranged by Nasir’s family. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, they only organized the Akht first, while the post-wedding reception will be held on February 20.
But before that, the traditional Gaye Holud ceremony will be jointly organized by both families on February 17.
Nasir, once termed as the best finisher of the country, has been out of the national team for a long time now. He last played in national jersey back in January 2018 when he took part in a ODI match against Sri Lanka. His last Test and T20I for Bangladesh was in 2017 and 2016 respectively. Overall he played 19 Tests, 65 ODIs and 31 T20Is for the Tigers.
The Rangpur-born 29-year-old cricketer, however, recently took part in the Abu Dhabi T10 League. In that tournament, he also captained the Pune Devils side.
