Nasir hits ton in NCL

Nasir Hossain has hit his fifth century in first-class cricket as he is unbeaten with 105 runs against Sylhet Division in the fifth round of Walton LED television National Cricket League 2016-17 at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. [নিউজটি বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ শতক হাঁকিয়ে অবহেলার জবাব দিলেন নাসির]

In the last session of day two of fifth round’s play between Sylhet and Rangpur Division, star allrounder Nasir brought up his fifth first-class hundred.

In reply to Sylhet’s 272, Rangpur were in deep trouble being 29 for four wickets in 7.5 overs. Nasir came in and made a partnership of 78 runs with Dhiman Ghosh for the fifth wicket. Nasir brought up his fifty in 73 balls hitting seven fours and a six.

The 25-year old continued on. His century came in 132 deliveries spending 173 minutes in the crease. After getting the ton, he slowed down a bit to finish the day.

Nasir remained not out on 105 runs off 160 balls. His innings included 14 fours and a six. At the end of the day, Rangpur are 175 for five in 54 overs, trailing by 97 runs.
