Nasir's over was the key, believe Zimbabweans

Zimbabwe beat Bangladesh in the second and last T20I of the series by a thriller. They needed 18 runs in the last over but a super all-rounding performance from Neville Madziva took them over the finishline, as he took 18 runs from just 4 balls to help his team record a historic three wicket victory.
Whilst most of the people are verdicting today’s result as a mere upset, Madziva, the magic-man of the moment said he knew they were going to win the match, given that it was Nasir to bowl the ultimate over.
Earlier Madziva was struggling miserably against the bowling of Mustafizur Rahman and could score only one run out of 9 Mustafizur deliveries he faced. But that same Madziva emerged in a whole new profile in the last over of the match over Nasir.
“I was failing to read Mustafizur. But when I saw Nasir cominh to bowl the last over, I saw our chance to seal the match. I always enjoy to play against spinners so I was getting a feeling that it wouldn’t be impossible for us to get to the target in that over. I said to myself, “This is the chance, this is the chance to win my country. Let’s go for a win”,’ said Madziva at the post match press conference on Sunday.
Zimbabwe captain Elton Chigumbura too revealed that the confidence rejuvenated in their dressing room when they came to know that Nasir Hossain would be bowling the last over.
“I knew they had to use a part-timer in any of the last overs. I thought Nasir might be used in the penultimate over. Before going in the middle, I said Madziva that there would be a spinner-over in any of the last three overs; so if he could utilize the chance, the match could be ours. And that’s exactly what we ultimately got from Madziva. The way he bowled and batted for us today was just unbelievable,” said Chigumbura.
