Nathan Mccullum ends rumors on his death
Former New Zealand right arm spinner Nathan Mccullum has given full stops to the news going around the social media that the cricketer was no more due to health issues.
Rumours are always a part and parcel of the game between bat and ball. There is no one exceptional from the rumours since we witnessed many hilarious rumours in the game.
The latest addition to those hilarious ones are the death of New Zealand cricketer Nathan Mccullum. There was rumour spreading all over in the internet that the former New Zealand player and elder brother of Brendon Mccullum, Nathan Mccullum was no more due to health issues.
It was said that Nathan Mccullum was died following some complications in the hospital and his wife officially announced the sad news to the media in evening in New Zealand. And the news was spreading in a rapid fire in social medias.
All of a sudden, Nathan Mccullum himslef has broken the silence and has put an end card to all the rumours going around that the cricketer was no more. He took to micro-blogging site Twitter, posted a picture of his picture with friends and wrote, “I am alive and kicking more than ever before. Not sure where this news has come from but this is fake. Love you all.”
The Otago-born cricketer represented New Zealand in 84 ODIs and 63 T20Is in which he scored 1070 and 299 runs respectively. He was no mug with the ball either.
The off-break bowler picked up 63 and 53 ODI and T20I wickets respectively. Nathan also plied his trade effectively as a T20 freelancer across the globe. Back in 2015, he made the announcement of his retirement after the 2015/16 domestic season.
