Pakistan and West Indies were currently engaged with each other in the 2nd ODI (rescheduled match) at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan. Babar Azam, the skipper of Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat. Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq opened the innings for Pakistan.
Andeson Philip provided the first breakthrough for West Indies, by sending back Fakhar Zaman for 17 runs. After his dismissal, Babar Azam joined with Imam and played a crucial inning in the middle for his team.
Both the batters added 120 runs for the second wicket partnership before the left-handed batter has been run-out by Shai Hope and Nicholas Pooran on 72 runs. Babar Azam also went back to the dressing room after scoring 77 runs for his team. The middle-order of Pakistan didn't live up to the expectations as they returned to the dressing room with cheap numbers.

After that, Syle Mayers and Shamarh Brooks added some valuable runs on the board in the top order for their side. Both the batters added 67 runs for the second wicket partnership Kyle Mayers had been removed by Mohammad Wasim Jr.
Brandon King followed him in the very next over bowled by Mohammad Nawaz. The left-arm spinner also got the crucial wicket for Pakistan by picking up well-settled Shamarh Brooks for 42 runs.
The skipper of the side, Nicholas Pooran also failed to score runs for his team and warmed the bench with the number of 25. The Pakistan bowlers didn't let the other batters to settle down and won the match by a margin of 120 runs.
