A 12-member Pakistan squad has been announced for the first Test (Chittagong Test) of the two-match Test series between host Bangladesh and visiting Pakistan. A day before the match, Pakistan announced the Chittagong Test squad separately with 12 members of the main squad.
 The venue for the first match of the ICC Test Championship for both the nations will be the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
Pakistan will take the field with a strong squad in this match. In addition to captain Babar Azam and vice-captain Mohammad Rizwan, there are experienced  batsmen like Abid Ali, Azhar Ali, Fawad Alam.
The bowling unit also has the presence of veterans. Shaheen Shah Afridi, Hassan Ali and Nauman Ali are in the list of 12 players. However, young pacer Naseem Shah did not get a place in the squad of 12.
