Pakistan receives ‘no positive’ response from Bangladesh to play in Pakistan

Upon the issue of playing a bilateral away series in the soil of Pakistan, the concerned country’s media revealed about not finding any positive response from Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). The successful arrangement of final of franchise based domestic T20 tournament, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017 boosted up the confidence level of Pakistan cricket authorities, hence they sent invitations to some countries to play in Pakistan. According to Pakistani media, a spokesperson from Bangladesh Cricket Board manifested about their disinterest to go to Pakistan right now. Eight foreign national cricketers including Anamul Haque Bijoy from Bangladesh went to Pakistan to participate in PSL final.

Pakistan national team is scheduled to visit Bangladesh to play a full bilateral series. However, PCB Chairman is hopeful that Bangladesh would also take it positively to play on Pakistani soil later on.
