Bangladesh have got total of 150 matches in ICC's new Future Tours Program (FTP) from 2023 to 2027. According to this schedule, the Tigers will tour Australia after almost two centuries. The new schedule will see the red-green representatives visit all the top cricketing countries in the world except England.
So the board is planning to tour England in the current or next schedule. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Chief Executive Officer Nizamuddin Chowdhury Sujan said, like other countries, Bangladesh always want to play more against the big countries of the cricket world. There BCB works to ensure the best possible schedule by matching the schedules of the two countries.
BCB chief executive officer said, "Playing with big countries is more important to us. Not only us, any country feels the importance of playing with big countries."
However, due to everyone's desire to play with big countries, matches are not always available as desired. However, BCB is satisfied with its schedule in this year's ICC FTP.
“Everyone wants to play with big countries. They have to keep everyone's expectations. It is not only about Bangladesh. It is not possible to talk to everyone at a certain time. We have tried as much as possible to keep those things in mind. We feel that the number of matches or 'match days' we have now is enough cricket in our context,” Nizamuddin added.
