Rashid khan’s Mother Passes Away

Afghanistan’s all-rounder Rashid Khan’s mother has passed away (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un) today. The all-rounder confirmed the loss on Thursday evening in his social media account.

“I regret to inform you that my mother Passed away and I will be not having her prayers and best wishes anymore. My family and I are going through a difficult and extraordinary hard time.” Rashid khan wrote on both Facebook and Instagram.

Urging the well-wishers to pray for his mother Rashid khan wrote,

“Please keep my mother in your prayers. May Allah rest her soul in peace.”

Rashid Khan as his mother’s unfortunate death happens two years after his father passed away. This has become a double shock for the all rounder.

Rashid’s father died when the leg-spinner was in Australia. At that time he was playing for Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League. The leg-spinner, remained true to his profession, and went on to the play the game against Brisbane Heat, the following day and showed his strength.
