Rayudu gets good news after retirement U-turn
Ambati Rayudu who had taken the retirement from all forms of the cricket, has, however, after a few days, took back his statement about retirement and then showed his interest to play cricket once again. Good news followed him now as he will get back into the cricket world very soon.
The Indian batsman Ambati called it quits from all forms of cricket after getting snubbed in World Cup Squad. After he was overlooked by the selectors, the frustrated Rayudu made this decision.
Even after Shikhar Dhawan and Vijay Shankar were ruled out midway through the World Cup, Rayudu was still ignored even his name was in ‘Stand-By’ List. Rishabh Pant and Mayank Agarwal were called in as replacements of Dhawan and Shankar.
But there came a positive update for Rayudu and his fans. He is going to lead Hyderabad in the forthcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy. Hyderabad will play their first fixture against Karnataka on September 24. And thereafter, Hyderbad side will next take on Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Saurashtra, Mumbai and Kerala in the league stage.
It will be quite interesting to see how Rayudu seizes the opportunity and unveils his potential.
It is certain that Ambati Rayudu will look to make a comeback into the Indian side and for that, he will have to be at his best in the IPL and other domestic tournaments to impress the selectors once again so that he will get a chance to represent the Indian cricket team.
