Razzak ruled out for three weeks

Experienced campaigner Abdur Razzak has fallen in a grim injury on Saturday while completing a run against Khelaghor Sporting Club at BKSP. In the 45th over of the innings, he dived to save his wicket but fall badly on the ground. [বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ তিন সপ্তাহের জন্য মাঠের বাইরে রাজ্জাক!]

He was carried immediately by a helicopter to Dhaka for the treatment. He was admitted to Apollo Hospital. After the initial treatment it is known that his condition is not critical.

He had to undergo under a MRI test yesterday to know further details about his injury. Report of MRI test is yet to know but it is learnt that MRI report will be given by today’s evening.

Initially, it is supposed, the 34-year old Abdur Razzak has been suffering from grade ‘two’ injury. If the suspicion finally becomes true, then he will be ruled out of cricket field for at least 3 weeks. Which will be a great concern for Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi club in the ongoing Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPL) 2017.

To be noted, during completing run Abdur Razzak got hurt in his right-knee and on his left thigh muscles.
