Reason behind Hasan’s inclusion in Pakistan T20Is

Mehedi Hasan Rana was one of the biggest surprises in the just concluded Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2019-2020. But there was an even bigger surprise when Hasan Mahmud was called up for the upcoming Pakistan T20Is in place of him.Reason behind Hasan's inclusion

However, Bangladesh chief selector Habibul Bashar Sumon has revealed the reason why they picked Hasan in place of Rana.

Rana had initially been unpicked in the BPL Players’ Draft. But he was later bought in by Chattogram Challengers. The pacer from Chandpur made no mistake to utilize the opportunity, as he grabbed 18 wickets from 10 matches. Apart from match-winning spells, he also had quite impressive economy rate of 7.50.
