Nazmul Hasan Papon also remarked, “We have lots of important tasks in hand in the near future. It is not a time to raise such issues. I can’t understand how these topics arrive. A captain cannot be changed before finding a suitable replacement.”

“I have had no discussions with Mashrafe about his captaincy. Whatever we do, we do it after discussing with concerned cricketers” – board President further said.

“On that particular day, we did not talk about Mashrafe’s place in the one day team. But I have heard it everywhere that the board is going to make a change in the captaincy without finding out a replacement. I think there is no scope for discussing about Mashrafe Bin Mortaza’s captaincy” – he said.

“He is the best as a captain. It is impossible to find a replacement of him. Moreover he has been performing well as a bowler” – board President added.
