The Bangladesh 'A' team, which consists of the national team players and the cricketers around the national team, is currently in the West Indies. After two unofficial Tests, the Tigers will now play three ODI matches. Batsman Sabbir Rahman expresses his confidence to give his hundred percent before the start of the ODI series.
Sabbir was called up to the 'A' squad before he got a chance in the Asia Cup squad. When he flew to St. Lucia for the ODI series, the news of getting a chance in the national team came. Before leaving the country, Sabbir said that for now, his full focus is on the 'A' team series.
Even after being called up to the national team, Sabbir's thoughts are about how to bring the 'A' team the title in the ODI series.
He said, “They played very well in the Tests. 4 more players have also come for ODIs. We are focusing on playing as a team. We will try to play according to the team plan. How to win matches, how to improve, how to play well- we are focusing on this.”
Sabbir is quite satisfied with the facilities he gets. The star top-order batsman wants to use this advantage to fight with his all.
He added, “We have all kinds of facilities here. We will practice well by using this advantage. We have still one day left. We will try to win with our hundred percent. Our goal is to win the series.”
