Legendary India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has recently expressed his desire to get back his first car- a Maruti 800, which he purchased with his own money after becoming a professional cricketer.

“My first car was a Maruti 800. Unfortunately, it is not with me right now. I would love to have it back again with me. So, people listening to me, feel free to contact and get in touch,”

Sachin recently told table tennis player Mudit Dani on his chat show, In the Sportlight.

Sachin’s fascination for cars is nothing new as he has always been in the headline with his different car collections. From BMW to Ferrari to Nissan GT-R, Sachin has such amazing car collections in his garage.

Sachin also revealed that his fascination for car began at early age when he and his brother spotted different cars from the balcony of his house in Bandra. “There was a massive open drive-in movie hall near my house where people used to park their cars and watch the movie, sitting in it. So I, along with my brother, used to stand in our balcony for hours to watch those cars,” Sachin said.
