Sakshi discloses how she met MS Dhoni and his terrible hair-style
Sakshi Dhoni recently made the headlines after she bashed the infamous trend #Dhoniretires and said that these are only rumours. IPL and all other cricket activities suspended due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak across the world. The experienced campaigner has already took an extended break from cricket and there is still uncertainty over his future. With no cricket as of now, MS Dhoni’s comeback is put on hold.
During an Instagram live session on CSK official page, Sakshi added that MS Dhoni and rest of the family would be heading to the hills where they will be staying in a small village if cricket does not resume.
“If there is no cricket post lockdown then Mahi and I have planned to hit the hills, go to Uttarakhand. Stay in a small village or something, do some trekking,” Sakshi told Rupha Ramani in an Instagram chat.
Sakshi also spoke about MS Dhoni’s worst hairstyle and added that she was rather lucky to have not met him during his long hair days. She also stressed the fact when she met him back then she wouldn’t even have looked at him.
Sakshi’s reply came when the TV presenter showed her an old image where Dhoni had long hair. To which Sakshi Dhoni said: “No.. No… that’s a wig during a shoot”.
“Luckily I didn’t see him with long hair. Because if I had seen him with that oranged-long hair, I wouldn’t have even looked at him, you know there has to be some aesthetics you know,” Sakshi said without hesitation.
“But everyone had that thing about long-haired Mahi,” said the interviewer.
To which Sakshi Dhoni said: “To John (Abraham) it sort of suited him but on Mahi that long hair and on top of that orange colour was like”.
When asked which kind of hairstyle she thinks was the worst MS Dhoni ever had, Sakshi said: “That orange hair which I saw luckily after I got to know him. After I fell in love with him, I saw his orange hair which was fine.
“I was like thank God, I only saw him with short hair.”
Sakshi also spoke about the first time when she met Dhoni and it was exactly like what they portrayed in the movie.
“In movies, you know how it is. The directors take liberty for creativity sake and capture the audience.
“The first time I met him was through a common friend, and it was the last day of my internship at Taj, and he seemed to be a very regular guy, like very normal.
“At the time, I didn’t use to follow cricket that much those days. Obviously, I knew Sachin Tendulkar, Dravid, Sourav Ganguly. I knew all those players.
“But I just knew there was a ‘Pahadi guy’. He has got long hair, and he is a hulk. And my mom she was a fan of him and when I met him I told Mumma that he doesn’t have long hair he has got short hair,” Sakshi added.
