Shakib all set to fly for West Indies

Finally, the long-wait comes to an end as Shakib Al Hasan has received his visa of West Indies to take part in the fifth edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). [বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ অবশেষে ভিসা পেলেন সাকিব]

The Bangladeshi all-rounder is expected to leave Dhaka for West Indies by Thursday night. Earlier, He was supposed to leave Bangladesh for CPL on 29 July, but due to not getting Caribbean Visa, he had to stay few days at home.

The number one all-rounder of world cricket will play for the defending champion, Jamaica Tallawahs in this year. This is going to be his third appearance in the history of CPL. He was a part of Jamaica Tallawahs success in the last season CPL as well.

Shakib Al Hasan’s Jamaica Tallawahs will start their campaign in this edition of CPL from 5 August. Shakib Al Hasan’s availability is uncertain in this match due to his long journey. But he is expected to join with the side on Friday.

Apart from Shakib, another Bangladeshi all-rounder Mehedi Hasan Miraz  is also all set to feature this year’s CPL. He will play for another strongest side of the tournament, Trinbago Knight Riders.

To be noted, the fifth edition of Caribbean Premier League is scheduled to get underway from this Friday.
