Shakib changes his mind not to participate in election

Bangladesh Cricket Team’s Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has denied to seek any nomination from Bangladesh Awami League during the upcoming election. Shakib Al Hasan and Mashrafe Bin Mortaza the two most successful cricketers of Bangladesh Cricket Team were the two most trending individuals in the Social sites throughout the entire Saturday morning due to their rumour of participating in national election of Bangladesh.

But it is now learned that Shakib Al Hasan has refused the claim of Bangladesh Awami League by denying to collect his nomination form for the prestigious political party of the nation. The news has been confirmed by the leading Bangladeshi television channels such as Somoy Television, Jamuna Television, Ekattor Television and also the DBC News.

Though, once at a stage it seemed the news is no longer a rumour. As the ruling party itself confirmed the news towards the media today. Mr. Biplop Barua, the office secretary of the ruling party of the nation has said the media around 12 in the noon that both the cricketers will be present at the office of the party president tomorrow by 10 in the morning, which has been confirmed by his General Secretary Mr. Obaidul Qader. Both the cricketers has spoken today with the General Secretary in phone and has also said about the decision of collecting nomination form.

Earlier, the day Bangladesh Cricket Board- BCB also expressed their doubt regarding the all-rounders participation in election. The media committee chairman of the board, Mr. Jalal Younus said, ”We are aware about Mashrafe’s news of collecting nomination. But I have no idea about any possibility regarding Shakib’s.”
